Year 2018 saw some amazing debut novels. Here are my favourites among them and if you haven’t read them yet, you NEED check ’em out ASAP!!
●Christina Dalcher
Christina Dalcher debuted with VOX a feminist-speculative fiction, in September 2018. The book was SO powerful and impactful, that it became a favourite easily.(Full Review)
●Helen Hoang
All of you already know about The Kiss Quotient. Don’t you? It’s such a swoon worthy, slow burn romance with such well defined characters. I loved and raved about it so much. (Full Review)
●Alexandra Christo
To Kill A Kingdom made me fall in love with fantasy and retellings. I devoured the book in a day or two. Can’t wait to see what see comes up with next!
●Linni Ingemundsen
Linni Ingemundsen debuted with The Unpredictability of Being Human. Her writing is so umm.. different. It’s slow and captivating and consuming and gentle and sharp. Really underrated, this is a book that deeply touched my heart. (Full Review)
Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? And who’s your favourite debut author of 2018? Please let me know in the comments.

I loved Vox as well! The concept was so interesting for a dystopia. One of my favorite debut authors from 2018 was Angelo Surmelis, who wrote The Dangerous Art of Blending In. 🙂
