10 Books I Wanted To Read In 2018 But Didn’t Get To

Honestly this prompt is triggering my anxiety. I have a pile of unread books at the end of this year! Like so many more than previous years. And here are the top ten among them that I really really wanted to read in 2018.

  • Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson
  • The Hating Game by Sally Throne
  • The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw
  • An American Marriage by Tayari Jones
  • Everless by Sara Holland
  • Landline by Rainbow Rowell
  • A Darker Shade of Magic by
  • Nyxia by Scott Reintgen
  • One of Us Is Lying by Karen McManus
  • The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood

Have you read any from this list? What are your 2018 backlist books?

On other note: I read Truly Devious this month and am proud that I managed to get to it!😅

  1. I loved Handmaid’s Tale and Darker Shade of Magic, so I hope you get to read them soon!
I can see why this prompt is anxiety inducing, even thinking of it made me make a face.

  2. I’ve read A Darker Shade of Magic & One of Us is lying and they were both pretty good. I’ve been meaning to read The Wicked Deep, Everless and the Handmaids Tale for a while now but in the end I never pick these books up ^^’ I will need to change that now in 2019!

  3. If I had to list all my 2018 books I haven’t read yet, I’d still be here tomorrow 😂😂 I’m actually superexcited about truly devious! It’s gotten some really good reviews

  4. My list of books I meant to read last year is stupidly long lol. From your list I’ve wanted to read A Darker Shade of Magic for so long and I finally actually got it last year so now it’s just a matter of finding time for it! :’D Everless is also one I’ve been interested in.
